Cale Makar made history when he notched his 300th point wearing this heavily photomatched and videomatched jersey.
He hit the milestone in 280 games, the second fastest ever by a D and one shy of Bobby Orr's record (279 games). Cale did this after becoming the fastest to both 250 points and 200 assists earlier in the season, and the fastest to 200 points during the previous season.
This is one of four Set II away jerseys Cale wore in the 2023-24 season. He wore it for three games (1/16 at Ottawa, 1/18 at Boston and 1/20 at Philadelphia), recording three assists and highlight reel play in the process. It features moderate wear that includes two repairs, multiple board burns and unrepaired holes, a number of loose threads, a black mark across the stomach, his signature tuck crease on the back number, an indentation on the left shoulder patch, and more.
Cale set new career highs in assists (69) and points (90) during the 2023-24 season. He also became the Avs' all-time leader in points scored by a defenseman, which the team commemorated with a graphic that used a photomatched image of this jersey.
In addition to Cale's milestones, this jersey was used on the night that Nathan MacKinnon took sole possession of the NHL scoring lead for the first time in his career.
