This 2021-22 season opener jersey features strong wear for a one-game wonder, including several photomatched and videomatched loose threads, two large unrepaired tears, an unrepaired hole, piling, pulls, and board burns.

Johnson was paired with Bo Byram when the rookie D-man scored his first NHL goal (and the eventual game-winning goal) in the Avs' 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 13, 2021.

EJ assisted on Gabe Landeskog's 2-0 goal at 5:48 of the first period, firing a blueline shot Nazem Kadri and Landy both tipped.

The game marked the regular season debut of the team's new Adidas Primegreen jerseys, but EJ, the 2006 1st overall draft pick, was one of the players who wore regular Adidas jerseys.
