In addition to many memorable playmaking moments, Tanguay's highlights in these battered gloves include him stepping up and netting a GWG and an assist in Game 4 against the Los Angeles Kings on May 2. Sakic missed the game due to a shoulder injury that would hamper him the rest of his stellar playoffs. That started a 2 1/2-round stretch in which the sophomore Tanguay took faceoffs and played an even more prominent role en route to Game 7 stardom in the Cup Final.
